Putting God First

God should be first in your life. Many of us don’t pray when we wake up in the morning. Why? Who knows. Others give excuses like:
      

“I don’t have time.”
                 Or
        “I’m busy.”

Let me ask you this. Who gave you life? Who gave you the opportunity to get you into that school that you want? Who gave you that job? Who gave you everything that you have or will get in the future? Who broke down strongholds and destroyed your enemies? There’s only one answer to these questions.
                       God.
God needs to be first in your life. He didn’t forget to wake you up every morning. People think that miracles happen everyday. Of course they do when you put God first. When you spend time with God before you do anything else, that’s putting Him first. Praying and reading the Bible is putting Him first. Even when you are in a situation you need to go to Him first. He will tell you what to do. All you have to do is put God first. Without Him we wouldn’t have everything we have today.
Our blessings comes from God and it definitely does not come from luck. God needs to be first in your life just like Hes ahead of the household. When you dont put God first you will be in situations where you thought you would not be in. 
      For those of you who saw the movie War Room knows what I am talking about. Even though the family attended church occasionally they didn’t put God first because they were always busy. Then that’s when they started to argue all the time with each other but then when the wife started putting God first in her life so did the husband and their daughter. God first, then family, and then everything else. That’s the way it should be not the other way around. When you start something new or whatever you do PUT GOD FIRST. He made you. He gives you blessings on top of blessings but yet we act like God don’t deserve a place in our lives. If that’s the case He can decide if you deserve a spot in heaven. So what’s your decision? Are you going to PUT GOD FIRST before everything? Or are you going to wait till everything falls apart and then put Him first? God needs to first and He will be first before anything else. God first, family second, and then everything else.

Forgiveness

Forgive to stop feeling angry or resentful toward someone. Forgiving will overcome the grudges that you hold against someone. When you forgive you become the bigger person. We know that forgiving can be tough to do but we need to realize that when you don’t forgive the grudges that you’re holding onto will destroy you.
  You can say you forgive and don’t really mean it with your heart. Everytime you see that person you give them an attitude. You still have hatred in your heart.  To forgive is to set a prisoner free and to realize the prisoner is you. Don’t hold onto the grudges of yesterday but look to the hope of tomorrow. Forgiving can be impossible for someone to do but look at the word impossible. Turn that word into “I’m possible to forgive those who have me.”
  Forgiving takes time. Dont say it right away until you are sure that you are ready to forgive. Dont say it just to say it. Jesus forgave us for what we did. So why cant you forgive your debtors for what they did to you?? Once you forgive that heavy burden which you are carrying will be gone. You will be relieved once you forgive with all your heart. You will be able to reach the unreachable. You will see what mercy sees. Forgiveness!! We all have been hurt at some point in our lives and the pain that is left behind is not a good feeling. It’s like when someone hurts you; your heart has been ripped out from your chest and you don’t know how to hold on.
All you have to do is lift your head up high, stand up straight, and when your ready to forgive then go ahead and forgive. Don’t wait until that person is gone because you will miss your chance to forgive them. Don’t hesitate or be nervous. Take a deep breath and just say what you have to say. I FORGIVE YOU.

Beauty

Beauty is a combination of qualities such as shape, color, and form. Beautiful or pleasing thing. What words that comes to your mind when you think of the word beauty? Style, bloom, charm, class, elegance, glamor, handsomeness, allurement, and attraction. All of these things can describe someone or something.

True beauty comes from within us but yet decided to cover up our beauty that God gave us. Why? Why do we cover up with make up, fashion, and plastic surgery? Are you not happy by the way you look? These things will not make you more beautiful. It’s how you present yourself to people and is based on your personality. Your smile can light up your face. People have said to me:

“Wow! You have a beautiful smile. It just light up your face.”

I would just have this huge smile on my face just because of those words. You are already beautiful. I have a testimony.

When i was young i use to look at myself  and compare the way i am to other girls. I would ask myself; why can’t i have a body like hers? I would just doubt myself because people would ask me

Why are you so skinny?

I could never answer that question but then i started going to a group called Girl Talk. We would talk about beauty and what does the Bible say about it. Afterwards i started to repeat that in my head. I would look at myself in the mirror and say you are beautiful.

Psalms 139:14 says “I praise you because i am fearfully and wonderfully made.”

You are created in His image. You dont need jewelry and elaborate hairstyles to make you beautiful. He created you for the way He wanted you to be.

1 Peter 3:3-4 says “Your beauty should not come from outward adorement such as elaborate hairstyles and the wearing of gold jewelry or fine clothes. Rather, it should be that of your inner self the unfading beauty or a gentle spirit is a great worth in God’s sight.

You are beautiful. No matter what people tell you. The next time someone tells you your beautiful just lift your hand and thank the Lord. Let your hair down and put your smile on. YOU’RE BEAUTIFUL!!!!!😄😃😃
