Regret; feel sad, repentant, or disappointed over.
Have you ever did something that cause you to regret what you did? The pain of regret is not a good feeling because you’re constantly thinking about how you wish you could have changed it. How you wish you could just go back in time and erase that memory. I know that I am not the only one that wishes that life has a rewind button. The truth is life does not have a button for that, all you can do is move on from it. Yes, of course it will always be there. There will be things in life that keeps bringing you back to the pain of regret.
“Thinking before acting is wisdom; acting before thinking is regret.”
Honestly, I act before I think and it is not fun because when that happens, it seems like that life is just getting worse. I regret everything that I have done. The pain of regret will not live with me forever because I have a Savior who forgives. Understand this, regret is reminding us (me and you) that we need to do better. We need to pursue a life that we once have lived or still living in the pain of regret.
2 Corinthians 7:10, ” Godly sorrows brings repentance that leads to salvation and leaves no regrets, but worldly sorrows brings death.”
When you repent to God the pain of regret will be no more. Do not let regret produce negative feedback ask God to help you turn those regrets into positive feedback. It is time to ask God to make different choices. You and I are not alone. Pray for one another. Give God your all, as I am willing to give him all of me.
Beautiful !!!
